Here is where we start

I am finally back in the Word of God. It was a long dry spell followed by an even longer bout of bitter self pity. Suddenly I can feel the sun on my face again and I do believe that the God of heaven loves me. It is amazing. Why did it take me so long? Maybe because the wounds were so deep and I had to travel to the heart of each one in order to be healed. I am sure of one thing. God is not finished with me and there is much more work ahead than behind. Today that is okay with me. Today I believe.
